For the past twenty months, Aprecia´s founder has been the lead industry consultant on cyber-security to the Thoroughbred industry´s umbrella organization. By working with the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), specifically in the area of cyber security, Aprecia´s founder has been involved with all aspects of this most important industry need including working closely with Giuliani Partners, attending meetings with Tom Ridge, Admiral Stone, US Senators, numerous State regulators, top-level management of the major racetracks and all manor of industry groups. Aprecia has been formed to fulfill the industry´s articulated and immediate need for cyber security in the areas of wagering fraud and anti-money laundering.
Using its planned Detect-R™ technology, Aprecia intends to develop MonitorPlus™, the next generation of security tools to help the Thoroughbred Racing industry provide an environment that meets regulatory scrutiny with regard to wagering fraud and anti-money laundering.
Using MonitorPlus, Aprecia´s also intends to target other industries in need of transaction scrutiny including: online and physical casinos; online payment, ATM, credit cards, point-of-sale and conventional banking; lottery; and Homeland Security. Significantly, ESI is also in these markets and intends to resell MonitorPlus to this wide spectrum of industries.
