Ilan J. Weinberg, CFA – Finance & Regulation
Ilan Weinberg has been working in the financial services industry for over 12 years as a securities analyst and in operations as an accountant and compliance officer. He co-founded Palladium Capital Advisors in 2003 and served as its first FINOP and compliance officer. From 1996 – 2000 he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Leviticus Partners, LP., a hedge fund associated with the asset management division of the oldest current member of the New York Stock Exchange – Ladenburg, Thalmann & Co. There, in addition to his duties as CFO, he ran a separate partnership account of concentrated, mostly contrarian, equity investments. In 2000 he assisted Matrix Asset Advisors, a billion dollar asset manager, improve its trade clearing operations and also benchmarked Matrix's institutional client accounts to the S&P financial sector sub-index. Ilan has a B.A. degree in microbiology from Hunter College in New York City. In 1999 he received the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
